1st Forum of Academic Scientific Associations: Change Thinking to Implementing!

On the 6th of December 2013 at the National Stadium in Warsaw the 1^st National Forum of Academic Scientific Associations “Innovations – Environment – Energy. Change Thinking to Implementing” took place. The Associations from 6 various academic centres in Poland presented 11 scientific and research projects. The presentations, prepared by young researchers, mainly concerned: modifications of heat pumps and air turbines, sustainable renovations of public buildings and innovative ways of measuring parameters of working medium in a pressure turbines. Each project was followed by  discussion related to implementing potential, possibilities of commercialization and perspectives of further research projects. Entities which were present during the forum – PGE S.A., Viessmann, EasySolar  and Capital City of Warsaw – declared openness to cooperation within the mentioned projects and initiated opening negotiations with chosen Academic Scientific Associations. The audience chose as the most interesting project the one presented by Academic Scientific Association of EkoEnergy from Poznań University of Life Sciences. The Association received Special Award – 2.000 PLN. Due to a great interest and plenty of promising research projects, conducted by the Academic Scientific Associations, we plan to organize a similar initiative in the coming year.
